June 20th, 2002:
Aches and Pains...
I missed writing on the 18th and 19th, so I'll just give a little about what happened on those dayz. Ok? Alright...
On the 18th, we (PrEP) went to the Ford Plant and looked at assembly lines on the Mercury Sable and the Ford Taurus...I had already been on the tour last year, so it was nothing big to me...the kids were pretty bored by it. The next day (yesterday) we went to a place called Pactiv where they make styrofoam plates, bowls, etc. I had already been on that tour before as well, but it was still interesting because I had a good guide...I bet you never knew that Kroger plates and Hefty plates were all made at the same factory...alot of time, you're just paying for the name...maybe a tad bit more strength foam might be added to the Hefty plate, but in the end..its basically the same thing...Anyway, today they went to The Boeing Company in Warner Robins, Ga. I was unable to go today due to some type of stomach sickness...but i heard it was very boring and that I didnt't miss anything...

The program is almost over..only 2 more days left...I know the kids aren't gonna want to leave..as soon as you start bonding with other students, you're not ready to go back home...oh well...gotta just hope to see em' again when they graduate from H.S. I guess...I'ma miss some of them I'm sure...

Tomorrow, we're going to Plant Scherer in Julliette, Ga...itz a fossil fuels plant...and I heard it was HOT! I've never been, but I was told that its one of the best tours we go on, so we'll see. Hopefully I won't have a heat stroke...wish me luck..I guess I need to post some new music on thiz joint, huh? When I find a good song, I will...I'm going to bed...nite

Sooooo tired...
I'm soooo tired....long day...
We went to the underground and to the Coca-Cola museum yesterday...big fun! (sarcasm)
Today...we didn't leave campus for anything, but we walked all around this thing...I'ma be in such good shape after this program is all over. Tomorrow we visit the Ford Plant...I need to get my hair washed and braided soon!!!! So, one of these days I'ma have to sneak out and get it done...my scalp needs a good cleansing...this log might not make alot of sense, but I'm very tired...we (counselors) played football with the kids tonight and I am WORN OUT!!! Ok, I've said enough...goodnight.

I just want to give a special shout to my really sweet and adorable friend Lakia...I met her last year around this time when I was a counselor last year. She was in the student center eating lunch and when I saw her, I was like..."who iz that!!!!"...she ended up working nearby on campus...and well...to make a long story short, we became good friends..and I care alot about our friendship and I'll alwayz be here for you ma'...ok, I'm going to bed...lataz
