Carnival
..::Whole heap'a fun::..

Whew...what a weekend...*smile*

The Carnival was soooo much fun...so many beautiful people all in one spot...correction...so many beautiful caribbean people all in one spot...and the women...mmmm...so nice...it was really nice. The parade had "floats" <--if thatz wat' u wanna call them...they were mostly 18-wheelerz wit' loadz of people on them...singin' and dancin'...*smile* Me, L, and Mo went down, reppin JA, Guyana, and JA...I had my flag stikkin out of my pocket...L had hiz lil' Guyanese flag in his hand, and Mo had on hiz Reggae Boyz soccer jersey...Mo was gettin all the attention from the ladiez wit' his digi-cam, but he just let them walk away...(I have alot to teach my son...). I got to see my friend Dena, I saw alot of people from my church, and I got to see my gyrl Aray and her family...Dena iz Jamaican, most, if not all of the church congregation is mixed between Jamaica (BIG UP!), Barbados, Grenada, Guyana, V.I. Massive, and a few other small Caribbean Islands. Aray has ties with Trinidad, but mi nuh rememba' dem...*smile*

After the Carnival, we went to Lenox to eat, then later that night we came back to my apartment to chill...My friend Kamarah and her gyrl J came over...az well az one of Marcuz' chapter bruhz', Ant. We had a good time watchin T.V., trippin' out...and havin controversial discussionz...with Marcus as the host of the talk show. *smile*

The next day (Sunday), my mom invited me over for a BBQ, so I invited Marcus, and I went and got Mo and we all went over for some food. I also invited Kamarah, J, and their friend (now my new friend...J too!), Kenyatta over for a little bite to eat. My mom liked them...(who knowz why), she said they were classy and she liked the fact that they had "culture" and alll that jazz...Kamarah and J were born in Jamaica...Kenyatta iz American born...I think...but she'z still classy, so she'z kool wit momz...After eating my mom out of house and home (minus Ms. Kamarah...she thought she was too good to eat my motha'z cookin...*smile*), we went to a friend'z house to play pool, watch T.V. and trip out again...de ja vu? *smile*

Uhm...Monday...Memorial Day...BBQ...again...the cycle repeatz...almost...I went back to my momz house for food, but only Kamarah came with me thiz tyme...she'z a sweetheart/thug... How can someone be a sweetheart and a thug? Easy...Call 678.852.30...ok ok ok...(if you call every number from 00 to 99, you will find her eventually..*smile*). She'z kool tho'...I really like spendin' time and talkin' to her...she'z like the female version of me...or the male version...dependz on her mood...*smile* Nah, she'z really kool tho'..I hope we stay friendz for a minute...I got to meet lil' J last night after I left my aunt'z house...(I had to go ova there and fix their computer after I left my momz house), she'z a lil' cutie...I don't know where she getz it from...*smile*...but she'z lukki she aint come out like her momma! (j/k).

I really had fun weekend, and I got to meet new people and get better aquainted with the onez I already knew...but now itz time to get back to the grind...for two more days...*smile* (the joy of class only on T/TR)...

Thiz song makes me think of Sunday...*wink*

I'm gonna try and get some of the picturez that Mo took of the parade and stuff...but I don't know when that'll be...until then...lataz...
